Croix Churchyard, Near Le Cateau, France

Private R. J. Gladwell is buried in a Commonwealth War Graves Commission war grave, but located in a small local churchyard. Croix-Coluyoux is a village some 7 kilometres north of Le Cateau and immediately north-east of Forest-en-Cambresis, along the straight main road (D932) towards Englefontaine. The church is clearly visible from this road. There are 13 other war graves commemorated in this site. The graves date from the 15th October to the 1st November, 1918.
Private R. J. Gladwell is the Great Uncle of Martyn Coles (Year 11 2006) and Bethany Coles (Year 13 2006)
